Registration Terms And Conditions For Photography Classes


  1. Registering for any photography class indicates your understanding and agreement to the terms and conditions set forth in the Registration Terms and Conditions For Photography Classes.

    1. The Registration Terms and Conditions For Photography Classes can be changed without notice at any time.
    2. You can register online or via phone by contacting Sam D’Amico. Contact Sam.
    3. All payments for class registrations are processed online and are processed securely.

  2. Refunds, Reschedules, and Transfers:

    1. Unless a class, in its entirety, is canceled or overfilled, there are no refunds. Weather cancellations/Delays do not apply.
    2. If a transfer/reschedule is possible, there is a $$65.00 Transfer/Rescheduling fee based on the undiscounted cost of the class.
    3. Please review section #4, (Non-Attendance, Cancellations, and Rescheduling) for more detailed information.

  3. Missing a Meeting During a Multi-meeting Class:

    1. If you miss a meeting during a multi-week class, you may be able to make up that meeting free of charge by attending the meeting you missed during a class that is currently in progress.
      1. Only one meeting can be made up for free.
      2. Making up missed meetings is contingent upon there being space in the class and if the class is still being offered.
      3. There are no guarantees that missed meetings can be made up.
      4. You can also make up a missed meeting with a private lesson covering the same topic you missed (at least 1.5 hours is suggested, payment is required).
      5. Please get in touch with Sam to schedule your missed meeting at least one week, seven days, in advance.

  4. Non-Attendance, Cancellations, and Rescheduling:

    1. Group Classes: When you (the registrant) or your representative register for a group class,  a space or spaces have been purchased and reserved in a group class that is scheduled to meet during specific dates and times.
    2. Private Instruction: When you (the registrant), or your representative purchases private instruction,  you are purchasing and reserving specific times and dates to meet for photography lessons.
    3. Cancellation Policy

      There are no refunds, but the Sam D’Amico Photography Classes will provide a credit code under specific circumstances.
      1. To receive a credit minus a $65.00 rescheduling fee, the registrant or their representative must provide a notice of cancellation to Sam D’Amico by emailing sam@samdamico.com more than five business days from the scheduled session.
      2. If the registrant or their representative does not provide the notice as required in 4.3.1, the Sam D’Amico Photography Classes will not give any credits toward future instruction. 


  5. Weather Delays

            1. Quick Study-Single Meeting Classes
              1. In the event that a single meeting class is canceled due to weather a credit code will be issued, for the amount paid for the canceled class, and delivered by email.
              2. The credit code can be used to register for any future class, as long as the class is equal or greater than the amount of the credit code.
            2. Multi Week-Multiple Meeting Classes
              1. If a meeting during a multi-week class is canceled due to weather the class schedule will be altered to make up the canceled meeting.
            3. There are no rescheduling private lessons due to weather unless the weather causes limited public transportation.
            4. How is the decision made to reschedule a class due to the weather?
              1. The decision is mainly based on public transportation limitations and partially on The Office Of Personnel Management Snow & Dismissal Procedures.

            5. How are people notified of a weather delay?
              1. Directly via e-mail.
              2. A “Special Weather Announcement” link will be posted on the home page of https://samdamico.com6
                If One Person Is Registered For A Class:

    1. In the event that a workshop that consists of more than three hours has only one participant registered since this is private instruction, the total workshop time will be reduced in length to one-half (1/2) of the originally scheduled time.

  7. Private Instruction:

    1. Private Instruction schedules are not confirmed until payment is made in full.
