In Photography, There’s A Lot To Learn

In photography, theres a lot to learn.

The good news is that  you don’t have to be a know-it-all.

For example, I know how to control my depth of field with my f-stop and distance focused on. I know enough about this to allow me to do my work.

I also know that when it comes to my aperture controlling my depth of field there is something in optical physics called Circles of Confusion that explains this.

While knowing that Circles Of Confusion is why my depth of field is made more shallow or deep by using my aperture may get me points on a test or a game show, this tid-bit of knowledge is more than I really need to know to do my  work.

Learn what you need to learn to do the work that you want to do and throw the rest aside.
