Here’s why I like flash.
It’s a light source that, when used appropriately, is an effective way to add to the depth of composition of your photograph.
You know that picture of your friend standing in front of a window or a sunset? You know, the one where your friend comes out as a silhouette while whats outside the window or the sunset can be seen?
Flash is the solution so you can see both your friend and the sunset in the same picture.
Don’t hate flash. Learn to use it and you’ll learn to like it.
