Simple.
We set the camera to whatever exposure mode that we are comfortable using, compose the picture, press the shutter release and we’ve got a photograph.
We either like the picture that we produced or we don’t like the picture that we produced.
If we’re producing pictures that we don’t like more often than we’re producing pictures that we like, it may be time to become more involved in the process of photography.
It may not be as simple as we think to get the pictures that we want.
Maybe, the essentials aren’t enough.
Usually, it ain’t the camera that’s not enough.
Usually, there’s nothing we can do about the light.
Usually, there’s something we can do about the photographer.
