Blog posts based on the topics covered during the Introduction to Photography class offered by me, Sam D’Amico. While the topics covered are important, the conversations during the class inspire the specific posts.
As as student currently working with me in the Introduction To Photography class you can use these blog posts as a supplement to your studies and practice. If you’re not currently working with me you can use these blog posts to get you thinking about what we do as photographers.
Specifically, these blog post are intended to get you to thinking about photography, camera operation and composition. Because, by thinking about photography, camera operation and composition we begin to rely more on our mind, rather than relying on a machine, to create our photographs. As a result of our unique thought process, our photographs become unique.
Whether you’re takin’ the Introduction To Photography class with me or not, the intention of these blog posts are help you to be a better photographer.
