I pose that question a lot to the participants during week four of the Introduction To Photography class that I teach in Washington DC. Here’s the link if you’re interested in the class –> https://samdamico.com/introduction-photography-washington-dc-photography-class/
Since photography is a thought process that involves decisions of exposure, metering, focusing, framing, etc I want to know the thought process that went into creating the photograph.
It’s good to hear that the photographers in the class are now creating photographs with their mind, in manual exposure mode, instead of having their pictures created by their cameras in an auto-exposure mode.
What a difference four weeks makes.
