It’s not stamped on the camera or the camera carton.
The life expectancy of your camera is based on the number of times you release the shutter.
Releasing the shutter is also know as an actuation.

So true Sam. When I acquired my latest camera, I had to replace my computer to allow me to maximize manipulation of the digital format. So that significantly added to the cost of the camera.
On the other hand, conserving negatives appropriately so they can survive over time carries its cost too.
