Directions To The Sam D’Amico Photography Classes

If you’re taking one of my online classes.

You’ll receive an e-mail with directions that will allow you to enter our online conference room. Simply park yourself in front of a computer, follow the directions and you’re there!

If you’re taking one of my classes that are offered in Washington DC.

 Unless previously arranged, as with private instruction, all  meetings will be held at either of the following locations. Both locations are located in the Chinatown area of Washington DC and  are easily visited via Metro on the Green, Yellow and Red lines.

Meeting Locations Based On Class Start Times

• 10:00 a.m. start time: If your class meets on a Saturday or Sunday and starts at 10:00 a.m. we meet at Location 1
• 11:30 a.m. start time: If your class meets on a Monday through Sunday and starts at 11:30 a.m. we meet at Location 2
• 1:30 p.m. start time: If your class meets on a Saturday or Sunday and starts at 1:30 p.m. we meet at Location 2
• 6:30 p.m. start time: If your class meets on a Monday through Friday and starts at 6:30 p.m. we meet at Location 1

Location 1 

Location One is for group classes and private lessons that meet weekday evenings and weekends or at other times as indicated on the course description/registration page.

WeWork Chinatown – Located in the Chinatown area of Washington, DC at 718 7th Street NW, between G and H streets and is easily visited via Metro on the Green, Yellow and Red lines.

 IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS ON ENTERING THE BUILDING FOR LOCATION 1.

Please keep these instructions handy during the duration of your class so you can get into the building.

•Between 9am and 6pm Monday through Friday (excluding holidays):

1.Enter the building and take the stairs or elevator to the 2nd floor.
2. Check in at the front desk. I’ll be notified that you are there.

•Before 9 a.m. and after 6 p.m. and on weekends and holidays:

I’ll wait for you at the entrance of the building starting 5 minutes before class until the scheduled start time for class.
After the start time of the class, please dial 202-531-2344- to access the building.

Location 2

Location Two is for group classes or private lessons that meet weekday mornings/early afternoons or at other times as indicated on the course description/registration page.

-Please use the G Street entrance of the building to enter the Kogod Courtyard.
-Walk past the reception area and straight ahead into the courtyard.
-I’ll be in the courtyard at a single table or grouping of tables (depending on the number of people in the class).

Parking

Street Parking – There is  metered street parking available. Please pay attention to the street signs and parking rules on the parking meters.

Using Metro

To avoid parking headaches, It’s recommend to use Metro to get to our meeting location.
