Get out your owners manual and learn to set your exposure by setting your aperture and shutter speed in manual exposure mode
Learn to pick the right ISO based on the compositional outcome that you want.
Learn to focus by learning how to use the focusing modes on your camera
Learn to evaluate and measure light by learning to use the metering modes or patterns that your camera provides.
After you learn to do these things in manual exposure mode you’re well on your way to becoming a better photographer.
