Depending on the make and model camera, you have more functions or less functions in terms of camera operation.
Regardless of the amount of options that you have in terms of camera functionality most, if not all, cameras provide three.

Focusing
Metering.
Not only are these camera functions, these are elements of composition the we should be aware of when working with our camera so we can be involved in the composition of our photograph.
