Parking

Parking in the daytime in Adams Morgan is not very difficult, as there are usually ample on-street spaces. The Colonial Parking Garage is located at 2421 18th Street is covered parking, but it fills quickly on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings. Parking is scarce on Friday and Saturday evenings. Taxicabs are preferred.

Colonial Parking garages: The closest location is the Colonial Parking Garage located at 2328 Champlain St NW (You can enter via the 2421 18th Street entrance ) Daytime special rates: offers discounted parking at $2 for two hours from 7AM to 6PM, seven days a week with validation from a participating merchant. I’m not sure if Affinity Lab is a participating merchant, but bring your ticket for validation just in case we are.

Parking Meters

On-street parking: many streets in Adams Morgan have “multispace meters”: instead of a meter at each space, there is one meter for several spaces. These green meters have a “P” on the side. The driver can pay with change or credit card, then print a small receipt to place on the dashboard indicating how long they are allowed to park there.

Using Metro

To avoid parking headaches, I recommend taking Metro to get to the Workshops. The closest Metro lines are Woodley Park and Dupont Circle, there are a number of bus lines that will get you very close to our location from these stops. Or if, you enjoy walking, the Woodley Park and Dupont Circle rail stops are less than 1 mile away from the workshops.
